#Radcliffe - Sound Scheme

The Mark and Lard Chat phrases sound scheme for the chat room is something we've been thinking about for ages. Its now finally here, mainly thanks to the work of Pixiedancer and Chuffin. The Mark and Lard Sound Scheme V1 is a selection of 46 wave files to play to people at appropriate points in the chat. The sound scheme only works with irc clients which accept sound requests, and can only be herd by people with the appropriate sounds file.

Instructions

Download the Sound files form HERE. Once downloaded run and extract the to your mirc folder (usually located in c:/mirc/). Then load it up and type /sound on. To use the files type /sound followed by the name of the file. So to play a whooooooooooo you would type /sound who.wav. If you want to know how to make the command a bit quicker to type visit the chat room and ask for instructions.

Note this may not work for all mirc setups or clients. If you have PnP installed you need to do a little more configuration to get things to work. Please ask either me or Chuffin how to get them to work with pnp.

Please note the sound scheme can not be used with the website version of the chat room. We recommended you download and use mirc to talk in the chat room anyway.
